Overview

The Pre-Sales phase for our PS PMO team includes the SOW validation and information gathering steps before the contract is signed. During this phase we work to get ahead of risk as well as get a kick start into our Project Start and Planning phases. It is encouraged to work closely with the PS Engagement Manager and Technical Architect during this phase.

Pre-Sales

  • Identify assumptions, risks, and areas needing clarification
  • Ensure realistic timelines, deliverables, and acceptance criteria
  • build out intitial resource allocation (by role type) and associated budgets with PS Ops team
  • Review and provide feedback on SOWs to the EM, before finalizing (when possible)
  • Customer Homework (via Customer Epic, scoping issue, transition issue, Account & EM team context)
    • Provide project specific artifacts for the customer to familiarize themselves with established processes and required items on their side.
  • If agreed by the Customer, work through the WaR (work at risk) to begin Project Setup & Planning so we can effectively bill to the Project.
